Rigid heddle weaving pattern, The Weekend Scarf, PDF pattern, digital download
Please note - this is a PDF, digital download pattern, not a finished to physical item.
The Weekend Scarf is designed for newer or more experienced rigid heddle weavers who love a fast and fuss free project. It is perfect for "little loom" weavers.
This scarf pattern uses bulky yarn and a wonderfully contrasting houndstooth pattern and yes, it really can be completed from start to finish within a weekend (or even a day if you're very keen! š)
This project is suitable for beginners, however I do recommend that you understand the basics of your rigid heddle loom and have woven on it previously.
If you are an absolute beginner, I recommend that you complete my beginner's class before attempting this project:

Although I used bulky yarn for my project, the scarf can also be completed with other yarn weights and heddle sizes. A guide is given in the pattern to help you with this.
To complete The Weekend Scarf you will need:
Rigid heddle loom with a weaving width 10 inches or wider (I use a Sampleit loom)
1 x 5 dent heddles
A stick shuttle longer than the width of the project
A reed and threading hook
Tapestry needle
Full yarn and materials list is given when you purchase the pattern.
The printable PDF file is 22 pages long and includes instructions with lots of colour photos and video tutorial links to help you succeed.
