This project is designed for those who are familiar with the basics of rigid heddle weaving.

Cosy up with this luscious cowl! There are 3 finishing options provided - a fringed scarf, a fringeless scarf, or a cowl.

We use a single heddle with a heddle rod and pick up stick to weave this gorgeous pattern.

You do not need a sewing machine to complete this project, all sewing is done by hand and is approachable, even to the nervous sewist!

You will need:

Rigid heddle loom with a width 13 inches or wider

1x 10 dent heddle

A stick shuttle longer than the width of the project

A pick up stick longer than the width of the project

A heddle rod (wooden dowel works well) plus yarn to make string heddles

A reed and threading hook

Tapestry needle
