This cardigan was designed to be a simple but beautiful garment - perfect for those who are just starting out sewing with their weaving. It is also a “no cut” pattern for those who may be nervous about cutting their cloth for the first time. It is my interpretation of the classic "hug me tight".

This pattern assumes that you have some experience with rigid heddle weaving and are familiar with the basics of warping, threading etc.

You will need:

Rigid heddle loom with a width 20 inches or wider

1x 12.5 dent heddle

A stick shuttle longer than the width of the project

A reed and threading hook

A sewing machine is very handy, however, this project may be completed with hand sewing. Instructions for hand sewing are not included.

Sewing thread to match your garment.
