This project is designed for those who are familiar with the basics of inkle weaving. It does not include instructions for warping and weaving on an inkle loom.

This 29 page PDF includes charts for 6 different inkle band designs plus a super cool bag project to make use of your wonderful bands. The bag instructions are step by step with colour photos to ensure your success.

Each band has a visual threading chart (instructions on how to read these are included). Inkle weaving tips and additional resources are also available within the pattern.

You will need:

An inkle loom (inklette size is fine)

Belt shuttle

String heddles for your loom

A sewing machine capable of straight and zig zag stitch

Scissors, sewing thread etc

I like to use 8/2 cotton for weaving inkle bands, but the patterns can be adapted if you prefer a different yarn. Full yarn and materials list is given when you purchase the pattern.
